The film does not shy away from the truth that the Christian life can be really, really hard. BUT it also showcases the powerful reality of God's Sovereignty and His closeness in these times.

I loved Princes Cut 1 for it was uplifting and demonstrated how God cares so much about us that He even cares about our choice of a spouse. I expected another uplifting movie and was horribly disappointed. We see death, destruction, and desolation all around us in today's world in the headlines etc, so we don't need to watch it in a movie and that's what this movie is mostly about. When this movie ended, I felt depressed, not uplifted.

My wife and I really enjoyed Princess Cut 1. It was fresh and encouraging. Princess Cut 2 on the other hand was depressing and un-biblical. It was basically disaster after disaster after disaster. This is NOT how the kingdom of heaven works. Unfortunately the false, twisted doctrine of God's sovereignty was subtly at the forefront of the movie. This is demonic. Jesus said to pray your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. This type of stuff would not happen in heaven. The movie basically portrays powerless people getting kicked around by the devil and never once exert faith or authority. On the spectrum of Christian Movies I would say this is the complete opposite of War Room, which is more biblical, accurate, and encouraging, even if they held back some.
I would only encourage you to watch Princess Cut 2 if you want to build faith in the devil, something we are commanded to avoid.
