Nice drama
This isn't an action-packed drama that keeps you gasping at many plot twists ... and that seems to be why it is getting some quite low ratings. For me, it was a really strong character-driven story, and I found it compelling.
The leads do a great job, particularly the hero whose pain I could feel washing out of my TV screen as I watched his nightly struggle to get some sleep. The supporting cast is essential as well.
I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys more character driven, less action-packed K-dramas.

Average drama.
Watching it once is enough. Kim So Hyun finally has her first on screen kisses (and it is a lot!). It has some good parts but not much. Story plot is simple.
It was just okay
This drama has an emotionless famous actor who has no control of his life, a mother who is not only mean evil manipulator controlling & an ice Queen; a wash-up imfamous actress who does anything for money; the head writer who is mean takes advantage on others weakness & the radio script writer who is fickle-minded, clueless & weak.
Basically this drama is about a couple first love but with a twist, Dislike the supporting actress, she is so insignificant.
Triangle love & full of obstacles.
The romance in this drama is weak. There are alot more romantic, swoonworthy romance drama then this one, watch those then this. I watch as i thought it will be good but in the end I watch because of the leading actor. The 6 stars are for the actor. Honestly I prefer the leading actor, he played his role better than the leading actress is very stiff. It doesn't reflect that they have any chemistry together. A peck on the lips are not kissing.

Healing Drama
The drama is soft, bright and seem like a healing drama. While Korea now is full of dramas with serious plot twist and some people might call this drama is boring but i dont think so. The drama's background is around a radio center and each episode of the radio give you a story and a quote that help you overcome your pain or your sorrow. The quote can bring you a whole new day full of positive energy. And the chemistry between the characters were good too, both the main and the supporting ones. If you are tired of those mind-blowing move and need one to recharge and refresh your mind, then Radio Romance is ideal choice.

Sweet Romance
Radio Romance is a sweet romance surrounding a radio program and a troubled actor. I really enjoyed the story, it was simple but compelling, and the radio side story was very interesting.
I thought Yoon Doo-Joon did a great job, especially at the beginning with the way he was holding back his emotions; his eyes were so communicative and lots of little micro-emotions conveyed so much. I do wish that later in the series we had gotten some more open and genuine emotions from him but I suppose it was true to character that we didn't.
I thought that the ML and FL were good for each other, and despite a rocky start, they were overall a mature and cute couple. That being said, I personally felt zero chemistry between the actors. The 2ML had a bit more chemistry with the FL but not really in a romantic way either.
The side characters were interesting and eccentric which was fun to watch. I enjoyed the wide variety of music played in the show as well.
Overall this was a decent one time watch that I enjoyed, although it probably will not be very memorable.

Lukewarm romance
After seeing many Kdramas, I had to give this one a mere 6. As others before me has already said, no chemistry between ML and FL, no real affect shown. Plus, both leads are kind of stiff, stilted.
Quite upsetting also that highly disfunctional behaviours are glorified and excused: aggressive attitudes, manipulative parents, self-centered actresses can use good people to reach their goal, and be forgiven in the end.
Some problem with hairstyles: FL after the first episodes shows debasing hair that doesn't make her shine. ML suddenly from red hair passes to black ones and the effect is weird.
Younger versions of ML and FL show no resemblance at all with their adult counterparts.
A little more effort would have benefitted the show.

Nice and easy show
Yes, the pace of this show is a little slow but it's enjoyable. I loved the main characters. I found their story interesting and was quite surprise to learn about their history. Yes it's nothing to spectacular that sets it apart from other dramas but like I said, it's enjoyable.

A cute romance series
I really don't think the rating here is fair to this series. I enjoyed watching it and it had some really lovely moments and some really lovely lines. And I have to mention the Starlight track which I think is really gorgeous and fun to listen to! I rated this series an 8/10 and I've watched over 40 KDramas! Worth watching!

Bad
So, I've made it so far (12 episodes) and finally I convinced myself that it wasn't worth my time (plus way too many and more interesting dramas were out too). Radio Romance came out in a period when only few dramas were out and probably one or two of them worth watching. And with a cast full of stars, you kind of being forced to watch it. But, the first episode said it all. The pace too slow, the performances so so, the story boring, the romanct weak. When the background story kicked in, I told myself that this was it, the drama was taking off finally. Alas, that never happened. Turned out, that twist was boring too. Okay, the whole drama wasn't as terrible, but, for me, it's a drama that I wouldn't recommend.

Not much story
Not much story. A celebrity actor and his romance with a radio producer. The back story is revealed towards the end and by then it feels too little too late. The lead actor acts too cold and unsmiling for too much of the show. Even towards the end. Totally weak hint of a love triangle.
There is a lack of affection shown between the lead couple which explains the lack of chemistry. Also the age difference is apparent. The supporting characters are not interesting at all.
Visually the actors aren't well presented. The hair styling is strange as the leads have orange hair for much of the show and they look weird. This style does nothing for Kim So Hyun. She looks better with black hair.
Skip this one.

Bland story.
I tried to finish this drama, I really did, because I love So Hyun, but after twelve episodes I couldn't do it anymore. I have no criticisms on her acting, but it's hard even for someone like her to feign emotion for someone as stale and emotionless as the male lead. Not only that, his character wasn't likeable, and the story wasn't very compelling, side characters not that interesting. Not the worst thing I've ever watched, but not for me.
