People who really want to encounter some scary violent scenes, would like this movie. Also the director hasn't depicted it straight rather there is twist & mystery.

Pros
1. The twist - Told in a third-person POV, the story is unravelled effectively to deliver the twist at the end of the film.
Cons 1. The characters - Having all-female casts as the main characters feels like a typical stereotype to justify the theme of the story.
2. The pace - Clocking 90 minutes, the simple plot feels so stretched in order to make sense of everything.
3. The scare - They are commonly used in many other horror movies and are very familiar.

The reason I watched this movie was because of the misleading review of 8.5. The storyline was draggy, there was no climax, no actual plot, just full of "out-of-body" experiences with predictable jumpscares.

The same illusions and nightmares happens over and over again until it became predictable and silly. The problem is that the makers of this movie focus on horror scenes and forget about the story and scenario which are the most important things.
I watched this movie. It was really horrible waste of money honestly. People leterally walk out from the cinema after half an hour play.

To be very honest, this horror movie is nothing near to The Conjuring at all! It's a movie mostly about curses and witchcraft, not much of ghost, demon or paranormal activity except a few scenes of the two ghost children playing. Although it's scary, creepy and eerie but it's a very slow movie and some scenes were boring. The plot is good but it's not fresh as similar storylines have been used too often before. Makeups and lightings have been used to replace CGI but still need a lot of improvement especially on the makeup effects. As for eerie and creepy background sound effects, they have been used way too often, even when the cast were having normal conversation. I feel that the movie is too hard sell and trying too hard. The only plus points I can give are the jump scares which were very succesful in delivering BUT too many jump scares again make this whole movie meaningless as from beginning till the end it's only jump scare, jump scare, and more jump scares. Imho, jump scares are a lazy way to frighten viewers, a few jump scares are good but not throughout the entire movie!
I like Alper Mestci movies. This film is like conjuring series. Actually, I can say it is better than the conjuring. There are a lot of jumpscare scenes.

This was a very good movie. It's an interesting look at possession and "malediction" in the Muslim world. I didn't expect to like this movie as much as I did. The movie story line is really great an the jumps scares are very good.

Honestly, this movie make me wonder when will it end at all time in the cinema. You cheap trick for horror movie such as jumpscares... Lots and lots and lots of jump scare. Also the plot never progress until the last 20 minutes in the movie. Worse horror movie in 2018, and yea I just watch Hereditary a few days a go so it may affect my expectation for this movie before it started. Would give it a one star if not for a little twist at the end.

I don't usually get scared of horror movies, but this one had a lot of jumpscares and the first ones actually got me. And i really like the plot twist. Im intrested to watch more turkish horror movies.
I watched the movie 3-4 years ago with my friends during my high school years. I wanted to watch it again today to finish the series. I almost didn't remember the story... First of all, I appreciate Alper Mestçi for never compromising on quality. I've watched a lot of local horror so far. However, I have seen few scenarios that were so meaningful and that upset the audience so much. Even though the music is not as catchy as the Siccin series, I think the scenario and shooting techniques cover them sufficiently. The jumpscare moments were perfect. This job can only be done this well. That's the point of a horror movie anyway. The tension must rise in between. Without exaggeration, in the right place and in the right decision... Many of the things you think about and analyze in your mind at the beginning of the movie meet with twists and turns at the end of the movie. You see very much what a mistake can cost and what it can lead to. You are getting the necessary message for yourself... It is a film that is meticulously crafted and shot without rushing. I congratulate the whole team. It was a movie that I watched without getting bored. It is among Alper Mestçi's best films. Turkish cinema needs horror movies like this...
