This was tacked on to the DVD release of "Sweet Bean" by the same director. The film is short and mostly confined to a three-way interview. A third partner can of course provide some friction, even if they are there to honestly help as a translator in this case.
Great tight shots of the actors, crucially splitting from two to one over time. The words almost become meaningless as you focus on how they are delivered.
Perhaps a tad long for its shortness and could have been hemmed. I have the strong feeling there is more behind the making of this, then in the watching of it.
