Only thing interesting in the movie is about how the hero gives twists about his plan B in every situation but yet it is predictable other than this it is an age old story with same plot, fights, sentiments etc villain role is limited and everyone can predict the second half in the interval only but there are many unnecessary scenes in first half and moreover hero sometimes acts like a gay or a child and everytime he see the heroines he hugs wantedly and the triangle love story is lame and worst songs are average and kushboo did little overaction and comedy is not worth mentioning it is senseless and mad finally it's a one-time watch

Agnyaathavaasi (2018):
Before starting my review, I am gonna mention you that I am not going to say the director's name anywhere in the review out of immense respect I have for him.I will use the word "You Know Who" (Don't get confused with Voldemort). As a huge fan of "You Know Who",I have huge expectations on Agnyaathavaasi.Even when the trailer disappointed,it is You Know Who's written dialogue which really left the mark and raised the expectations on the film.So how is it? and Why am I not mentioning director's name?
Plot:
The film opens with a murder of Vindha (played by Boman Irani), a billionaire who's the head of AB group of companies. We are told that two others partners in the company, Sharma (Murali Sharma) and Varma (Rao Ramesh) are primary suspects for this crime. To deal with the impending crisis, Indrani (Kushbu) seeks the help of Balasubramanyam (Pawan Kalyan), who must get to the bottom of the conspiracy brewing within the company. The rest of the story is about how Balasubramanyam, aka AB, connects the dots and saves the day to keep Vindha's legacy alive.
My Review:
A dialogue in the initial portions loosely translates to 'when we don't have a new idea, we can repeat an old one'; that's writer-director "You Know Who" making his intention clear. But its shocking that "One of the most talented writers of Tollywood" ironically made a satire of himself. Its being evident that he has lost his previous magic and delivering only half of his talent. But those films at least had coherent narratives, a few well-etched characters and sharp dialogues.Writing is You Know Who's strength, and his legions of fans don't call him 'guruvu garu' for nothing. But even his half-baked works itself are getting decent successes,so as usually everyone will have But in Agnyaathavaasi (Ironically even the title apted for him),he went to exile as there is not even a single trace to prove that it is "You Know Who's"' film.
It would be hard to believe that a master writer like "You Know Who" could come up with such weak writing. Without doubt, he has failed totally in writing. Whatever be the story, "You Know Who" always writes best entertaining scenes and touching sentimental dialogues. The whole entertainment angle in this film, which involves a romantic track and comedy in the workspace is a total failure. There is nothing going on in either of them. They add to the length and provide endless boredom. In the entire movie, we can hardly find any scene which is worth mentioning. The whole movie is trash compared to the previous films in the combination or those of the director. Entire concentration is put on visuals rather than working on the right content. The hero and heroine track is the worst. Two heroines indulging in catfights, slapping each other's face and pulling their hair over hero is irritating to the core. Overall, even the hardcore fans can easily avoid watching the film.
This is almost the weakest film in everyone's career who worked for the film.Even the only strength of the film which is music,is so badly used that we get irritated with the song picturisaton and placement.I think the cover version sings done by youngsters looks more appealing than the movie's.Anirudh's BGM is totally out of sync with the scenes.
So,Agnyaathavaasi is one of the most unexpected disasters of Tollywood and especially from Talented Writer-Director "You Know Who".
My rating 3.5/10

The most hyped Agnyathavasi was trembled at box office because of slow narration and boring screenplay. Although pawan kalyan was best in his acting, the screenplay made him look dull. On a while the viewer feels that a short story is dragged for two and half hour movie and test ones patience. Music is average. Two heroines are present just for songs. Lame comedy scenes at times. Attarintiki Daredi traces can be seen as kushboo in place of nadia, koteswararao in place of brahmi character. Unnecessary and unbelievable fights, Unnecessary production costs. Overall it is clearly out of sankranti race.

For the very first time went for the benefit show and came out with total disappointment. It was totally same as to that of Attarintiki Daredi movie.
you would find the scenes identical to the Attarintiki Daaredi movie.
There was nothing different in this movie. The only thing one would enjoy is the comedy scenes. Though less but still they takes the movie up by a point otherwise this movie is a total disaster.
The Biggest flaw is in the script itself.

This movie is so bad that I can't believe I was able to watch the whole movie. Can't even understand anything in the movie. Very bad execution. Best of luck next time Pawan and Trivikram.

This is the worst movie ever seen , the script is very poor , dialogue's are not good , it does not even deserve a single star , a very bad film , the only one thing which is good in this film is one of the BGM's and the superb entry of pawan kalyan when he takes charge as a CEO , the rest is worst , don't waste your time by watching this

This movie was utterly disappointing.
The dialogues were lame and lacked Trivikram's usual wit.
I laughed once throughout the whole movie. This is not something you expect from a director/dialogue writer who has given us entertainers like Nuvvu naaku nachavu, Athadu, Khaleja, Jalsa, etc.
Worshipping the hero in the movie seemed ridiculous. PK randomly hugging the actresses out of the blue just seemed unnatural and weird.
The plot was good, but the execution was poor.
The visuals and fight scenes were stunning.
1. great cinematography - 1 2. rich picturization - 1 3. decent story line - 1 4. great action scenes - 1 5. great music and very pleasant - 1 6. bad dialogues - 0 7. not much Trivikram style comedy - 0 8. poor execution of the script - 0 9. unnatural worshipping of the hero in the movie - 0 10. dull and boring overall - 0

It lacks all the elements. Even Trivikram's humor failed. Only two songs are good. The scenes are boring. Director's attempt to follow the format 'Last 20 minutes Humor that saved Attarintiki Daredi' failed here.I believe Trivikram is a Good Writer but poor directional skills. Also Pavan Kalyan looks Aged. Craze is never a Saviour as Content.
Hope "Jai Simha" film of star Ballayya will be a good entertainer for this festival.

I watched the movie at 4:30 PM today amidst -ve reviews. But after watching the movie,I felt the movie didn't deserve such a sour reception from the critics. It was on par with One:Nennokadine(2014) and S/O SatyaMurthy(2015) which too fell prey to critics.Pawan Kalyan was magical in his role.Anu Emmanuel and Keerthy failed miserably.Rao Ramesh,Murli Sharma and Kishore with Bharani were avg.Trivikram chose a solid storyline but couldn't convert it into his trademark celluloid which is a major concern for many fans as it is very rare for the 'Wizard' to commit such a mistake.Khusboo performed with ease and grace. However, majority of the dialogues were mythological and some went unnoticed.Manikandan was the saving grace with excellent cinematography.Anirudh Ravichander was on beast mode with his BGM .'Baitikochi' and 'Gaali Vaaluga' were gems but with poor dances.'Kodakaa' lit up the fans and audience.Aadhi could have performed a bit better provided his standard.Movie reminds you of Mahabharat in many scenes
Finally, 1-Nennokadine::Suspense=NKPT::Senti=CMGR::Social Message=Agnyaathavaasi::Mythological drama with modern grace.
However after watching the movie several times, people realise that it's not so bad also

I am tamil/telugu .. i watch tam n eng movies often , hindi n telugu ( rarely) ! this movie had , ofcourse a normal plot , but what makes it impressive is the rich visuals n impressive performances :) for one , we must say rao ramesh is at his best , the total story is given in less than 5mins , yet, it remains to keep us entertained ! it isnt a critically acclaimed movie, it is a family entertainer ! so what if the director had inspired from hollywood movie, isnt bahubali inspired from hollywood movie? or any big movie , like , say enthiran , we had terminator long back in h'wood ! FANS need to stop fighting against others , and welcome a entertainer ! i dint like his last venture " katamarayudu " which was remake our of dear thala's veeram , but this one was good n fun ! maybe its like AD , but why compare ..
FOR DETAIL IN DEPTH AUDIENCE choreography : +ve class A+ bgm : +ve class A++ acting : special mentions kushboo , rao ramesh , sampath , pawankalyan A+
WHAT FELT ODD : similar script weak villain less intriguing scenes
FOR pongal/sankranti this film is watchable ! 6.5/10 !

Probably I had watched a re-edited version with Venkatesh Cameo and my first feeling is .. It could have been better.
The story line was strong but Trivikram played a spoilsport with useless embedded comedy, that is what I meant "an operation that was not necessary". Had it been the case with little more engaging screenplay and serious taking it could have been a wonderful film. Pawan tried his best to pull out but again his womanish comedy tests your patience. Anirudh did a decent job with some out of the box background score with live instruments and very neat timing (timing is a vital factor in composing BGM that many composers lack nowadays). For me songs are big let down. They lack the punch needed for a BIG STAR film, that I believe DSP could have given. A last minute surgery done by adding Venkatesh cameo couldn't help much. The most impressive part in this film is Climax which is world class! Its time for Trivikram to rejuvenate his lost glory else I fear to say that he might end up like another Srinu Vaitla. I could see his downtrend starting from Aa..Aaa..

As always, Pawan Kalyan gets to thrash everyone around him! One scene took it to his worst possible!
When he enters his company as CEO, he uses his bodyguards as stairs/support and his bodyguard throws a biker off his vehicle, just to let Pawan kalyan walk uninterrupted!
Mr. Pawan Kalyan, treat humans with respect, will ya?

Liked the Dialogues in the movie and Trivikram Directions. He has taken the basic plot from Largo Winch but moulded it as per the nativity.
Great acting by Pawan kalyan and Khushbu.

A billionaire industrialist and his son are killed almost simultaneously, and a message recorded on a cell phone implicates two high-ranking executives. His widow places a phone call and eventually reaches Pawan Kalyan, a holy man on a pilgrimage to.... beat up people apparently. He shows up, gives a speech about being sure about the target of his vengeance, kidnaps a job applicant to go to work for the company to begin his Hamlet-like campaign to infiltrate the company and achieve his revenge.
At this point the movie turns into a Marx Brothers musical comedy, in which a couple of the musical numbers are set at a Bulgarian wedding. I wasn't clear why Bulgaria should be involved, but apparently the Bulgarian Film Commission (or whatever they call it) had thrown some money at the producers, and they had shot some scenes that actually advanced the plot there. Apparently there was enough money left over to film a local wedding, or perhaps pick up some money filming a wedding video, cut it into the movie and hope no one noticed. Other plot points included frequent assassination attempts; a musical number in which an office manager with grabby hands gets beaten with the belts of every woman in the office; a catfight between Kalyan's two girlfriends; and a guy whom Kalyan's associates have kidnapped, who keeps getting free, going to the company to report the conspiracy, and finding he is reporting it to Kalyan.
I found the movie a constant, puzzling, manic delight and after half an hour I gave up trying to figure out what was going on. I just relaxed, enjoyed the jokes and situations and laughed. There are very few revenge stories that can do that to me. Certainly there aren't that many giggles in CORIOLANUS. There are here.

This story deals with a Son seeking revenge on culprits who killed his brother and Father and who protects his mother.
You wont find traces of Attarintiki Daredi at any point while watching this Movie.
Pavan Kalyan has done justification to his role with his good acting skills. His fights are excellent in action episodes.
Kushbu, keerthy suresh, Anu Emmanuel and other key actors played their part as well.
All the Action episodes are shot well.
With all above said, there are couple of scenes in the film that lacked proper narration. Editing can still be better.
There is title card in the movie conveying special thanks to Victory Venkatesh, but venkatesh role is completely missing from the movie and it was said that Venkatesh role will be added to the movie in near future.
Overall, Agnyathavaasi is a good family entertainer catering to all audiences with comedy and action Episodes. Music is good and don't expect dance in the songs.

Movie is weak in its script but the production values and cinematography is top notch. The director could have dealt the point in a more sophisticated way by removing unnecessary sequences and stretched narration. Pavan Kalyan's and Rao Ramesh's acting is excellent. Khushboo makes a good comeback with a decent screen presence and excels in the role of Indrani Bhargava. Heroines are not used properly in the script. Overall a one-time watch

This Movie is amazing to me. I enjoyed every moment of the film. You don't need a big budget to win the hearts of the audience, only if the story is good, the audience will rush to watch the film. Enjoy every scene in this film.
