Surprising indie film that had some good humor and fun twists.

I made a account just to write this review. This "movie" has easily the worst acting in existence. It's obviously trying to be a movie like drive but the acting is so bad that the "cool" main character sounds like he's just playing pretend, it's like if you took a kid playing and pretending to be a assassin and made it into a movie.

Love Shot was a cool movie! Funny, good dialogue, and the part where the 3 dudes sat around the table was the best. Not a big fan of the romance in the movie and a couple of the lens used in shots but overall it was awesome, especially for an indie film!
I was skeptical after watching the trailer, but decided to give this movie a shot because rom coms are my not-so-guilty pleasure (and this popped up on my list of recommendations, which usually serves me well). I should've listened to my instincts, because now I feel like I've lost 80 minutes of my life. I really tried to give this one a "shot", but I'd recommend others learn from my mistake and skip this one.
If the late great Roger Ebert has his film vault up in heaven, let's just say he won't be giving this one two thumbs up.

Not did i know what i let myself into when watching love shot, or shoot love or shoot your lover or...whatever... its a passable film abit over average, with some nice shots and silent killings here and there, a plain and simple story, easy plot actors at average toughness and ripe at its best, but with some editing glitches and blood splatter problems in this koreatown l.a based movie.
editor glitch youll find them, but the most visible is about 49 mins into the film, do take a watch at the records turntable and ask yourself the question, which way does the record player turn normally??? i also didnt like the choice of music in this film, first its not my taste, secondly it doesnt give the actors a silent space to boost their talent, and suffocates the story. further i dont like toothpick-juggling thugs and empty karaoke bars. but elsewise its ok. though it could have been a thought to use the police in the story, mr.fine, just to breakin another fear factorb to the plot. i didnt hear a single police or firetruck or ambulance sirene anywhere in this flick, and that is trully a glitch on the sound department.with so many open air takes its 1 in a billion chance not to hear the sound of emergency in the background.
anyway, it has its twists, so tonight you may pour yourself a large love shot of whisky and enjoy this not so bad movie

What has happened to Netflix?!?
I couldn't even finish it...this "movie" was so bad, it is not even worth it of a proper review. That would be taking this thing (clearly written and directed by a kid?) way too seriously.
I never review anything I don't like, but this one, I just had to create an account on here. I find it baffling how Netflix acquired such garbage.

Wasn't sure what to expect when I stumbled upon Love Shot on Netflix, but was pleasantly surprised. This film has a Tarantino-esque vibe and a solid soundtrack with just the right amount of twists and turns. I am not the least interested in a traditional rom com, so I appreciated this different take. Give this one a 'shot'!

Loved this movie. If you are seeking a romantic, action film with an indie vibe- then this would be a great choice! Unique spin on a classic hitman scenario, with all the magic that follows with finding new love in Los Angeles. Suspenseful, dramatic and an incredible playlist of lesser-known music gems. Highly recommend!

I have to admit that I've never seen anything like it. I knew going into it that was an indie film, and some of these movies can be a hit or miss. I'm sure people who are more avid movie watchers can give a more detailed critique, and may or may not agree with me. But I definitely enjoyed it!
I am not usually into indie movies but I really liked this one. There is some romance, some really funny scenes, clever dialogue, and a couple action shots that are tasteful while still maintaining the indie film feeling throughout the film. I definitely recommend checking the film out.
I love this movie!! It has comedy , suspense , love and great music. I have seen it three times and it gets better every time I watch it.

Wonderfully shot and acted. The two leads have amazing chemistry and can't wait to see what they star in next.
The supporting cast add variety and life to the Koreatown locations.
The film tells the story of Max, a hitman and record enthusiast in LA, searching for more in life. He meets Karen, at a karaoke bar in Koreatown, and the two of them embark upon a whirlwind romance and make plans to get out of town and start life over.

I absolutely loved this movie! It was shot in LA, but instead of opting for the tired beach and boardwalk shots, it showed my favorite side of LA - a downtown city life full of sunshine and diverse culture.
The story orbits around Max and the intersection between what he does for work and what he does for love. I found Max to be an ultra relatable character - through all his flaws and quirks, he was rooted in hopeless romanticism which steers his life.
The actors portrayed their roles very well, and the cinematography was executed beautifully. The soundtrack will be a perfect mixtape!
Well done guys! Can't wait to see more from this team.

Worth the time! Twists and turns and flash backs galore. Who thought I'd actually cheer for a hit man!

I've been a fan of hitman movies my entire life and this is the first I've seen to successfully dance the line between humor and action. I look forward to seeing the next production from this future film star.
