Yesterday went with Yesterday

Yesterday Went With Yesterday is a unique international film and I'm glad I was able to stumble upon it on Amazon. The story is a personal one about a man whose elderly father requests that he return to his home country of Lebanon, which forces him to revisit some past trauma but also to reconnect with his roots. I am always eager to see new locales on screen, so it was quite refreshing to see Lebanon on screen, which I had previously known little about. I definitely connected with the story that I found to be complex, emotional, and dramatic. Yesterday Went With Yesterday feels like one of those unique films that you might only find at a film festival, so it's great to see that you can find little indies like this one out there on big streaming platforms like Amazon.
