'I am not a robot' is an awesome kdrama, a different story plot with perfect cast.Even though the drama is a fiction, it has soo realistic feelings. The lead actors are so perfect for their roles, they make you feel as if they are really those characters. Their chemistry is exceptional and it felt real. The secondary characters has equal importance as of leads.
It makes no sense why this drama has got low viewer ratings. This drama deserves much appreciation. All the actors performed well but the performance delivered by the lead actor deserves a special mention. Yoo Seung-ho is indeed a great actor. His acting is flawless, the way he enacted emotional scenes captures hearts.Fell in love with this guy after watching his performance.Loved it so much. Will definitely recommend to watch it !!

Interesting story that contains a robot, but actually pulls it off. Maybe it's the cast and their great performances. Or the chemistry between the two main leads. Or maybe the theme that was interesting, entertaining and kind of touching with the leading man's story being a really heartwrecking one. The story in general is cute, though it does have it's chiche moments and some scenes were way too long. But all in all enjoyable.

I went into this drama knowing nothing and I think that was sort of the best way to get into this show? It was hilarious for the most part and the actors did an amazing job and had really great chemistry which made everything a lot more enjoyable to watch and experience.
The story does, of course, have it's slow parts but for the part it was hilarious, sad and awesome. The show is also very unique, I haven't really seen such a story-line being used in any media before and really enjoyed what they did with it.

This is not your typical K-Drama. The story is quite unique and refreshing - a pleasant departure from typical western and asian TV shows. The script is well written. The actors/actresses portrayed their characters well, especially the main leads. If you laugh and cry while watching, then you know the series is worth the watch. I neither read nor speak Korean, but the subtitles provided by Kocowa / Viki-Rakuten helped a lot to capture the flow and emotion of the episodes. A must-see K-drama. If you are new to K-drama, this is a good introduction to their rich collection of TV-shows and movies. This series in particular, has excellent production, cinematography and sound-mix - on-par or even better than many western TV shows.
The emotional scenes made me cry. It was not really a unque story but it makes you anticipate what is next. I just think there is something lacking after the climax but I can't identify exactly what it is.
I am gonna give it a 10 even though it deserves a 9 because it was extremely predictable. However, I loved the feelings that the story and the characters transmitted. I literally laughed and cried my heart out on their good and sad moments. I did not want to watch it at first because it seemed very cheesy, but now I really do not regret it having spent the time on it.
Highly recommend it and hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I did!

In terms of the sci-fi that this story weaves, the execution is pretty impressive. It's very easy to go wrong with a storyline that is helmed on a fictional ailment but the script makes it convincing. It's also a lot like the Hollywood film her, triggering the much-needed conversation on how important is AI is replacing humans. What falls through in this drama is the chemistry between the leads in the second half. The second half drags with the romance hitting a brake but nevertheless it's quite watchable.

Its a decent series but at episode 9 got tired of this actor crying which he does in every damn series I've seen him in, why do Korean men cry so much, is that real.

If you are over the age of 13, this is probably not the show for you. I selected "I am not a Robot" because of its popularity on this site. While I did get through the entire series (because I'm a masochist), I rage watched it, expecting it to improve. That's time I can never get back!
There are many of the standard K-drama tropes. The rich guy who is super smart but spoiled, self absorbed and socially awkward, and the poor girl who is contantly bullied and denigrated by the men in her life. We are also told over and over again that the female lead only has an IQ of 94 (never mind the flaws in using IQ tests, or that this would be within the range of normal people)...we get it...she's ordinary and a little bit simple. From the very first episode, he mistreated her in a way that made me not like him. If he wasn't really good looking, even the teeny bopper fan girls wouldn't be rooting for this guy.
Secondly, there's the plot itself. I like weird stuff, but this was too weird. First, you have to suspend disbelief that this supposed genius couldn't figure out that this "robot" was a real woman (I promise you, a caveman would have figured this sh** out by episode 2). It was so awkward watching him be attracted to what he essentially believed to be a really pretty appliance.
Finally, the pacing. If it had been written so that only for the first few episodes he thought she was a robot, then the reveal, leading to the development of a genuine romance between two real people, there would have been a chance that this could have been salvaged. Instead, we had to suffer through cringeworthy moments for 2/3 of the show, making it difficult (for me at least) to invest in the characters and their love story.
Now I've seen comments and reviews of other people who didn't like the secondary characters. I don't have an issue with the older guy/younger girl romance. I think the secondary characters were actually better to watch. They injected the realism, humour and drama and showed the most character growth.
To cut a long story short, watch something else!

I really enjoyed the performances in this series and really, I wasn't expecting to like the drama as much as I did! It's really quite meaningful and the leads have a wonderful chemistry! Yoo Seung-Ho delivered one of the most heartbreaking monologues ever, wow. It's a great series to watch, and worth it just to see! Now, can someone let me know where I can get that umbrella???

The plot to this one is very cute and depends more on human emotions than Sci-fi which is probably for the best with this kind of thing. It can get a bit cliche and corny but the main cast pulls it off and it ends up as endearing.
The only reason I can't rate this higher is because they keep harping on the leading man's side of the story, near the end everyone is all but falling over themselves to be friends with him while he pushes them of a cliff. It gets annoying fast when things are one sided like that and if the actors weren't so good at selling it, it would probably have been unwatchable.
As is however it's a romantic, light sit with every single person on screen being likable. Snuggle up and break out the popcorn!

This had a potential for all to go wrong in the start, but the story line was well written, its a funny, emotional and heart felt. Can love conquer all the obstacles. Yes they can and they will 💪💪 this was really well done, you will have a lot of fun watching this. Sit back and enjoy the ride.
Really a work of art. The story is exciting and the acting is good although some actors are not that good so that's why I won't give it an higher rating. I watched all episodes in just 2 days (during quarantine) so it's safe to say that I really enjoyed it.

It's my second K drama to watch , but it really wins my heart, it's unique and Amazingly played by the characters.. the plot and the acting and the chemistry between the Actors are pretty amazing.. it has so beautiful Romantic scenes and Comedy as well.. Highly recommend it..
Nice concept ,Good acting , direction .but the content ,it feels they are run out of material, there are many scenes which was streched for no reason.overall there are many scenes which are make you laugh.the ending was loose. It will be better if they ended it up in 10 episodes or showed more of the supporting casts.

This drama starts really good. The story seems to be different. At the beginning ,there are a lot of funny moments, however , obviously the script is stupid silly as the rich guy (the main lead)believes a human as a robot for a vely long time.
Gradually, the episodes tend to be repeatitive. The main couple , after their reveal , they only stand and talk about their memories .Again and again we saw mini reacap of the previous episodes through their dialogues. I can't stand , also, the lead man who was in love with the robot(!?) and he was always talking about it .
Supporting roles are also boring. Every scene they were part of , I skipped it .
The end is loose and cringy.

Have you ever watched a series that you didn't want to end?, because I just have. It's funny ,it,s sad but most of all it's a gem of Korean cinema, so much that even at work I kept looking forwards to getting home to carry on watching it. If America tried to make this they would absolutely destroy it, so let's leave the true love stories to those people who do them best. That kind you South Korea for a truly amazing experience.

Definitely worth my time. Extremely underrated. Commendable acting of Yoo Seung Ho.
Chae Soo Bin good too. But YSH stood out because of the role he was given was diverse.
