The movie is superb when comes to comic timing ....govinda and varun did a superb job...though female leads could have been better....the screenplay is average in 1st half...but the movie fails miserably in 2nd half as ending looks incomplete....watch it if u a chucha or govinda fan.....2.5/5 from me....!!!!....

I am a ChiChi fan and had hoped that my man Govinda might have pulled it out, finally....but hopes were diminished by the half time...
Varun is so irresistibly irritating...paper thin story line...and bad( read worst) screenplay ..all proved to be the nails in the coffin of intended comedy..
And what's this try at Romance cum sex cum extra marital relationship ...this was never gonna rock with Govinda type of dialogues and delivery...Please don't have high hopes when you download it and start watching...Don't think about going to cinema if you are a movie buff!!

Govinda's FryDay is one such movie that can't be watched even once, no matter how loyal you are a fan of the veteran actor.
A weak storyline with punchlines such as, 'Pumps bade hai, guts nahin!"
Govinda's dancing skills are unparalleled. However, even Govinda could not save thia film which is as dull as a dry day.
In the end, you'd rather not waste your Friday and skip this FRYDAY!

Watching Govinda's film raises our expectations but this one makes you down. You will feel that you are watching a play or a serial. Very low budget screenplay, like it's airing on TV. Characters are in a hurry to create jokes which aren't even at par. This would have been a good show, if it was edited to a 1 hour serial. Govinda is good, and I still feel he is an asset to the bollywood, only if the director knows how to use him.

Initially the film begins well and continues for a long time consistently. The comedy literally kept my ribs ticking especially when Govinda opens the door to two girls and when one says "Hi! Myself Honey" and the irritated Govinda replies "To kya chaatu?" made me go ROFL! However, when the house gets too populated with a lot of members, the comedy faded away.

Hardly any punchlines , wish it would have more of comic timing . Varun sharma was decent and Govinda was below average could have been much better .
This was a great movie, given that his last movie Aa Gaya Hero a huge disappointment. The only low points about the film are that the co-stars (apart from Varun Sharma) are not elite stars and perhaps he might not be able to get A-list actors/actresses star with him. The film also had all the actors wearing the same clothes throughout most of the movie and most of the film was shot in one house. This measure was probably taken place due to budget constraints, which might probably the case that it had very little publicity using social media and very low satellite publicity.
This film definitely belongs to him and also Varun Sharma. The two are a great jodi. Govinda plays a two timing husband, trying to start an imtimate moment while his wife is away until the entrance of Varun, who's given an ultimatum to sell and install a water purifier or he will lose his job. And then the madness starts.
The film might not be a big hit if it were but Govinda's career might be revived with this film. But perhaps he will have to stick with doing low budget comedy films like this. Maybe he is long away from doing movies with A-list actors.
The only director who could get him back to he elite market would be David Dhawan, who is now concentrating on his son Varun's career.
But it's a refreshing change for Govinda to do films with different directors.

Very low budget film, i think if director put vijay raaz in the film instead of varun sharma it would be much better.

Loved it!
Sorry, not much time for reviewing stuff but the movie is good.

I would give this is a 0 if possible! The trailer looked appealing so I thought it'll be a good watch but I regretted that decision 10 minutes into the movie. I still thought I'll give it a couple minutes and it might prove me wrong but no. The movie is stretched out for no reason. The jokes weren't funny at all. I watched it with a straight face. Things got repetitive and got to a point where I was annoyed and waited for it to end. It was a waste of 2hours of my life.

Abhishek Dogra's FryDay is a rehash of all those Govinda films that you have seen in the past as well as those comedy skits that used to air in TV along with oodles of canned laughter that never made you - the real audience - laugh. TN.

No one can replace Govinda. Bollywood is full of politics whole world know it, that is why no one is supporting Govinda, all the companies owned by these so called khans and bachchans. It's a shame, even whole media supports and dance for those actors. Love You Govinda, You are always amazing.
A Must Watch Movie, Full-time Comedy, Expressions Wow!

Govinda's comic timing is brilliant. A good comedy and family entertainer. Govinda has again proved why he is called hero of the masses.

What a movie, hard to describe. Govinda is once again back with superb comedy. There are lots of slapstick. Varun Sharma also did a good job. Seen such a good comedy movie after such a long time.
