I was excited to find this after reading King's short story. While the film strays from the King short story, I like what they did with it. Their take on it feels a LOT more tragic than how the short story presented the tale. I thought they did a great job of adapting this, and the special effects looked pretty amazing. It kept with the spirit of the source material, but also gave a little twist in a significant change from the short story. I think there's a bit more of an impact in the change they made, like I said, it does make the story a little bit more devastating.

Adapting a Stephen King story can be tricky, but I feel like the pulled it off. Nicely done!!
