The boat that the man is trapped on is a 1991 Beneteau First 45F5.

Two boats were used as the boat that the man is trapped on. One for the scenes out on the water, the other for indoor scenes and during fog.

The ships name "Aeolus" is most likely from Greek mythology though there are 3 characters who hold this name. One is the son of Poseidon, who led colonies to islands. Another was a son of Helen, and the last a son of Hippotes and keeper of the winds.

Based on the film makers' previous short film, Head (2016).

At 19:30, when the sailor almost gets knocked off the deck, the camera shots taken from the boat all show the boat to be sailing under full power. The camera placed off the boat shows the boat to be sitting still, with the only movement being the rocking from the waves.
