- Synopsis for Graham: A Dog's Story
Seen entirely from a canine's point of view and accompanied by a comedic voice over of the animal's thoughts, Graham: A Dog's Story explores the relationship between a pet and his owner. The short film spans a period of 13 years.
Introduced to each other as puppy and child on the boy's 12th birthday, Graham, a purebred black lab, and Lucas, share highs and lows as they go through life together. Growing up side-by-side, Lucas and Graham are inseparable and their connection continues into Lucas' adulthood. Through rides in the car, visits to the vet, walks in the park, playing stick fetch, and tummy scratches, Graham is always by his buddy's side. He's even there when Lucas courts, marries and divorces Tanya. Graham is eager and willing to try and cheer Lucas up whenever he can.
Graham: A Dog's Story also deals with the difficult aspects of owning and caring for a beloved pet. As the years pass, Graham grows old and gets sick. Lucas is forced to deal with the toughest challenge that faces a pet-owner.
It is a movie for all animal lovers who have had to deal with the joy, annoyance, and even pain that can come from having a furry best friend.
