Mirchi Malini intrigued me the moment I was aware that Sujoy Ghosh is helming it. Paoli Dam is a befitting choice for the titular role and does justice to her role as the enigmatic, prescient woman.

Supporting cast, including Akshay Oberoi, has done a neat job in putting up a story which instantly captures your attention with its bizarre concept. The story is put forward very simply and does not work in layers. The climax, however, is something that could be predicted, if you pay attention to details. Hints dropped by the director are easier to spot in this one.

Overall, it is a good attempt at making quality content at best. Go for it and share it with your friends if you liked watching it. We need to promote such good stuff.

At first after reading the reviews I was skeptical to watch but, interesting it's not that bad and I completely disagree with the negative remarks.

It looks good with beautiful faces, but it seems writer took the inspiration from Srijit Mukherji's 'Chotushkone', which follows the same revenge story. This short film is predictable and 43 minutes are more than enough to sum-up the story. Sujoy Ghos's production is good at wasting the nice concepts; in past they wasted a concept of Ray's short story in Ahalya.

Very bad plot. Did not enjoy at all. Acting is so so..
