In addition to the dialogue referencing the phenomenon known as the Mandela Effect, the film has several visual references as well: a K-Cup is labeled "Mandela Coffee Roasters," a street sign briefly changes from "Rosemont" to "Rosemary," and signage in a tavern reads "Berenstein Brewery."
