The film was very emotional and moving to watch, it was shot in quite a beautiful manner. I loved to see the message at the end of the production - it closed up the narrative perfectly. Things I would critique - the humming / buzzing in the background is quite loud and therefore it was sometimes hard to hear the dialogue. Other than that, very beautifully done! Well done to cast and crew!

When you cannot hear the dialogue because there is a continuous drone of meaningless sound that purports to be something dramatic, it destroys the entire film. this film would have been better with no interference from this sound designer.
the acting appears to be very good and I like the story, but it was hard to allow myself to really appreciate with the continual annoyance of the unnecessary sound.
the reason I've giving this film three stars is completely because of the sound design

I'd say that putting an SS officer in a cell with a prisoner is a bit of a stretch, but the conversation is interesting. What is maddening is the bumblebee droning throughout the film. This distracted from the concept of bonding.

A portrait of vulnerabilities. In honest , precise manner. A wise way to reflect the Nazi regime, the Resistence, the duty, forms of loneliness. Result - a dialogue with virtues of confession , defining fundamental things, proposing the other as reflection in a kind of mirror. A cell, three days, a Dutch political/ sexual prisoner, a Nazi officer . Inspired atmosphere, awfull sound.
