An odd item in too many ways, with no clear trajectory or sense of flow. A man is abducted from the street by a religious vigilante, on a mission to kill "drunks, addicts and fornicators". He seems to focus on drunks, but not very well - the majority of his victims are drinking for a specific reason, rather than as a habit.
The central character spends a significant time having flashbacks to the evening before his capture, but this has no bearing on his kidnap or subsequent fate. Nobody's actions make any sense, and we are not invested enough in any of the participants to care all that much what happens to them.
The dialogue prioritises grammatical form over natural speech, leading to a character describing a party as "drinks are provided" - not something I have ever heard said in informal conversation between friends. The acting is neither convincing nor professional - actors sometimes simply reading the script with no sense of understanding what the words mean. Even a Stanley knife overacts, as if it were a heavy-duty Rambo weapon.
As the end credits rolled, I struggled to think who various characters were, or to care. Some might not have appeared at all, and one crew member seems to be credited with a cameo role I could not recall, but whose name was a slight corruption of that of a Simpsons character.
I don't want to damn it completely, but I cannot think of anything that worked for me. Don't let me put you off - you might enjoy it. I didn't.
