The novel the series is based on was seized by court order on February 2018, only to rocket to the top of Amazon's bestsellers list before the seizure was enforced. Antena 3 took advantage of the controversy to set an early premiere, since the series was not affected by the order, which eventually turned into the full series release. The seizure order was lifted in June 2018, more than a month after the series finale aired.

Goofs
The series often shows TV broadcasts in black and white despite beginning in 1981, years after the Spanish public broadcasting company switched completely to color in 1977. However, it is possible that all the TVs in the series just happen to be old models that cannot show color.

Outstanding testimonial Spanish fiction

When a tobacco smuggling cartel in Galicia, Spain Coast turn to drug trafficking with the support of Colombian Cartel suppliers, things begin to taste sour in the Galician society. A lone policy sergeant go in a crusade against them and all the corruption political system that turns a blind eye. Based on true events. It is very well crafted with lots of action suspense and vibrant character development. Gripping, kept me glued to my TV set.
