The animated film is based on the work of Dmitriy Nagishkin "Seven Fears", written on the Udehei folk tale.
The latest collaboration of Dyozhkin and Filippov. Later, in connection with the death of Filippov in 1952, Dyozhkin shot cartoons independently or with other directors.
1953 - the film received a diploma at the V IFF in Venice.
In 2001, the cartoon was restored and re-voiced by Studiya AS LLC and Children's Session 1 LLC. In the new version the phonogram was completely replaced, modern actors were involved in the re-sounding.
The cartoon has been repeatedly reprinted on VHS and DVD in cartoon collections: The Best Soviet Cartoons (Studio PRO Video).
