Dan Sun tries to return to Beijing to handle issues within his business empire when he hears from a relative who is about to be deported back to China. This forces Dan to make a decision that threatens everything. Meanwhile, Dan's son Sammy, has gotten himself into quite a predicament and confides in Zachary.

Dan returns to China to get his money out, but discovers all is not as it seems; he tries to stay out of jail, while Rachel tries to keep the family together and find a hotel for Dan to buy in Canada.

Dan does everything in his power to put his hotel deal together while Rachel arranges the party. All is thrown into chaos when Dan's mistress shows up in Canada, and Secretary Li makes another demand.

Dan struggles to cover both the hotel and 5G company deals, but the Italians make things harder; while Rachel goes to her ill father's side, Nicole steps in to take her place.

Sammy returns and Dan begins to mentor him in the business, much to Nicole's chagrin. In the face of disaster, Dan concocts a bold plan to save himself from the Italians and his Chinese masters.
