"Shut 'Em Down" was the title song from Onyx's third album featuring then virtually unknown rapper DMX. The album also featured appearances from Lost Boyz, Raekwon, Method Man, Big Pun, Noreaga and an also-then-unknown 50 Cent. This album found critical as well as commercial success and started the blockbuster career of DMX, who shot to fame shortly after this promotional music video short aired.
