'Skater Girl' is a film about a woman from London who travels to a small Indian village to learn more about her late father's childhood. She meets up with an old friend who is teaching in a village nearby - when the kids in the village discover her friend's skateboard, they become obsessed. Jessica decides to nourish their interest in a new activity by building a skatepark in the village and giving the kids a chance to learn the sport. Jessica forms a special relationship with a young girl in the village, who is conflicted between what her parents want for her and her newfound love of skating.

An emotionally engaging, feel good movie!!

This movie has a wonderful feel good factor and emphasizes on how one small step can change the destiny of so many people in a positive way. Very beautifully shot with great performances by everyone. This movie will connect emotionally with people.
