- TriviaAs shown in the film, the real King George V did change his last name from Saxe-Coburg and Gotha to Windsor as a result of anti-German public sentiment. He was the father of King George VI, grandfather of Queen Elizabeth II, and great grandfather of King Charles III.
- GoofsThere is a brief flashback showing the death of Tsar Nicholas and his family, and while the scene has been painstakingly reconstructed down to the wallpaper of the basement, the family is shown being quickly killed with a single discharge of what appears to be a machine pistol by one person pretending to be a photographer. The real execution was far messier and cruel: the assassins tricked the family into posing for a photograph, but no camera was brought. Instead, the chief of the guards read a makeshift death sentence and then an entire squad entered the room. After the shooting, the Tsar, his wife and son had been killed, but the four daughters were still alive, due to the fact they had sewn jewels in their clothes, so the troops finished them off with bayonets and the butts of their rifles. Due to the gruesome nature of this, it is possible this is a deliberate alteration by the director.

If you love the previous two movies, you may be disappointed. But
But this is a solid WWI spy fictional film. I love the stories, the fighting scenes and the music, and the actors/actress' performance.
I went to the cinema be prepared to be disappointed. But gladly I came out very satisfied. Yes This prequel is different than the other 2, but the movie itself is pretty enjoyable.
And I believe it not only is a fun to watch movie, the main idea of anti war went through the whole film, including the trenches war scenes which perfectly described how cruel a actual war is(was). Our generation has long forgotten the scary war and really needed to see how real wars destroy human.
Shockingly I give 8/10.
