Oliver Stone interviewed Russian president Vladimir Putin over a span of two years in different locations in Russia: the Kremlin, Sochi and Putin's official residence in Moscow.
This is Oliver Stone's second television series to be aired by Showtime Networks, after the 2012 documentary series "The Untold History of the United States".
Stone spent over a year and half in impromptu walks, sometimes two minute chats and sit down conversations in Russia to dive deep into Putin's life and Russia.
