Kellie is holding the cat at night in the kitchen playing with the necklace, and in the following scene, she is at school the next day. Then the next scene is directly a continuation of the scene of her holding the cat at night in the kitchen.
Todd the boyfriend is killed by bludgeoning and falls face up at the foot of Kellie's bed. Later, the Father discovers Todd's body, now partially UNDER the SIDE of the bed next to the door, FACE DOWN, with blood on the bed where it was impossible in the initial death. Then in a later scene, Todd is back in his correct position, still dead.

The father has been dating the girlfriend for a year and a half and yet she and the children act as if they barely know one another. Worse, the girlfriend acts like she's never been in the family home, although the father clearly states that she has spent the night there more than once.
