In a dystopia not too far in the future, children are disappearing and the authorities solicit leads from concerned citizens. When Jacob sees Sarah in danger, what can he do to save her? This mini movie portrays a grimy future world with great visual effects and set design. Fans of Philip K. Dick, Black Mirror, and the Twilight Zone should check this out.

I discovered this little masterpiece. "The recycling man" is a film that has been able to highlight a state of mind so close to reality that it is really scary. Congratulations to Carlo Ballauri, the director, because in a few minutes he has calibrated the right tension as the only ingredient of what our existence will be in the near future, but which is not so much the future now. Great photography and music. A little gem that must be viewed and shared not only in festivals but also through other channels. Independent cinema must always be valued. And always remember that "today's short will be tomorrow's long"!

A boy in armchair. A girl on street. Between them a sort of friendship , action precise when the girl is in danger. The anounces on TV about dissapearence of children.
The mother of boy , lost in alcohol and indiference.
And the clash of this pieces, in cold portrait of greed, cold feelings, the other as object and technology.
A warning film, not so comfortable for presumed status of Sci Fi , working in decent manner, proposing fair perspective about near reality, maybe to bitter at the first sight.
And a moral , not easy to ignore, about way to define , out apparences, forms of selfishness, greed and pragmatism.
