The music video marked the last time Mercury's fans were able to see the singer alive, as it was filmed in May of '91 during the final stages of his battle with AIDS.
The US version of the video features animation produced by Walt Disney Studios, as Queen's North American record label, Hollywood Records, is a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company.
Filmed in May 1991, this was Freddie Mercury's final appearance on camera before his death from AIDS in November of that year. The video was not released until after his death because his illness had not been publicly confirmed. He wore heavy make-up and the video was made in monochrome because of his illness.
Although credited to the whole band, it was largely written by their drummer Roger Taylor.
