This is TVFs first bad series. Hard to believe that the makers of such incredible shows even made this. The Characters are not likable, no humor in the script. Some scenes feel really out of the place and can't connect with the a real badly written script here. They went for the feminism issues but couldn't portray it well. And it makes for a really painful watch. Couldn't even complete the 3rd episode which was so cringe-worthy that i switched it off. I am sad that i had to write this review specially for this. I really hope from the bottom of my heart that TVF recovers from this setback.

The protagonist here is a simple sweet smart girl working in urban India is portrayed very well by Nidhi Bisht.Along with the actual challenges which a working girl faces some of the situations on display are hypothetical(as most people won't dare) in which an idealist might get stuck and were really funny and also the typical Indian parents who don't value their daughter are believable.
The season was quiet refreshing and I would recommend it everyone who likes some flavour of reality blended with humour and a bit of melodrama. Nidhi Bisht Rocks!! We want S2 to come out soon!!!
It a bit strange to see such strong negative reviews for a sweet series. It seems these specific people didn't connect well and were having a really bad day when they wrote the review...lol (no offense) :)

Although, the series started-off on a good note and is based on a concept that probably has some potential, sadly this is TVF's worst original series. Some of the scenes are so out of the wack that it's hard to believe that makers of Permanent Roommates, Pitchers and Tripling would have given this script an OK. I really hope TVF can salvage itself from this and get back to the class and quality we expect from them.
The show, an attempt to portray the ills of the modern urban Indian society, remains that- an attempt, and that too so bad that some college projects are far better than this. It's too amateurish.
The show is ambitious, no doubt about that. It tries to cover some burning issues present in today's India- issues which are most relevant to the newly emerging bourgeoisie of the nation. Sadly such issues are not depicted in our popular culture too often and one would hope for a really nuanced approach from the makers of TVF, but that turned out not to be the case. The huge letdown comes from the script department, which before this show was perhaps the best thing about TVF. The script is incoherent, random preachy scenes which do not connect together make some really intolerable sequences. The result is- some funny(well, an attempt to be funny) scenes sprinkled here and there in the midst of some preachy-lecture-scenes.
Well, to be honest, it had some moments of good humor and some genuine moments that one could for a moment connect to, but that is the end of all that is good in the show. It gets so bad one has to force oneself through the torture that the third episode was. It's not to say that the first two are any good, but the third episode was so bad I could not force myself anymore- left the show in the middle of the episode.
I just can't bear to imagine that this comes from the makers of shows like Pitchers and Tripling. A huge letdown. From here they can only go up.

Bisht Please is the story of a young woman who is high on morals and values. She is sensitive and wants to live happily just like any other girl. She falls under the category of those rare people who apply everything they learn, in practical life. The first 5 episodes arise a question- Is following rules the correct way to live? The answer comes in the final episode and is very well explained. The presentation is subtle and those who are looking for pure entertainment won't be able to perceive it. One of the several messages conveyed in the series is on perception of problems. We keep looking for solutions to our problems everywhere. We start seeking help seldom realizing that we are capable enough of sorting out the problems ourselves. How many people noticed this quote,'The mug never falls far away from the bucket' in the penultimate episode?

I am a fan of TVF . And this Girl Nidhi Bisht is far better than those Bollywood fake actresses. So much to learn from her acting skills from being a shy and awkward girl to a bold and badass she plays each role with ease what else we need.

I love this series, as I can feel many things relatable. We as a middle class girl have to go through a lot of restrictions and rules and forget what we really want. This series perfectly shows all that.
