I was led to believe this was a quality movie. Endorsed by a trusted source this movie failed at every turn. The story line has a good premise, but poorly written, directed and edited. The acting in this movie was sub-par at best. I would say that I was disappointed by how the lead actor was directed, but the lead actor is the director. Sad, just sad.

Good movie. Solid acting from the main players, little shaky from the supporting cast. I enjoyed the story line.
The script and writing is spot on and is what makes the difference.

Independent films with small budgets can sometimes be rare gems. I Am That Man is such a gem. I watched with several war fighter, combat veterans who told me it was the most realistic portrayal of a veteran's struggle when returning from battle, they all cried at the end. The story has a positive message against anti-Semitism and a redemptive arch for the hero who isn't overblown. This movie is about the subtleties and quiet intensity. The fights are realistic, not Hollywood hokey. I wish it had more budget for back story scenes and music but overall still a 10 out of 10! Matthew Marsden deserves the praise for his writing, directorial debut and his always stellar acting that made him such a huge star in Great Britain.
