Featured review
The worst entry in this Sweet Sinner series is disappointing, given the talent (director James Avalon) involved. It simply doesn't play at all.
While typically amusing in the BTS short subject, Dana DeArmond is a disaster in the starring MILF role, playing her ditzy character as completely unsympathetic. Similarly, the movie is rather predictable, but unnecessarily hard to follow (or engage with) due to poor continuity.
Basically, one knows even before inserting the DVD into your player that Aidra Fox's mom Diane Wilson (played by Dana) will end up in the sack by film's end with her boyfriend Sam (Seth Gamble). The show opens unpromisingly with Diane furtively having sex with her mailman (Marcus London, with "Mike" inscribed on his shirt), and callously dumped by him (for another woman he's fallen for) right after his money shot.
Diane gets her daughter to visit her on Spring Break, and boyfriend Sam also shows up, quickly bonding with the scatterbrained MILF. Seth and Aidra make love at mom's house that night. Next morning, the movie goes off the rails, with scenes not making much sense, and even the time-frame garbled.
Specifically, Dana sends Aidra to buy some groceries, and is left alone (hint, hint) with Seth, but they don't have sex. Instead, Aidra returns, drops off her bags of groceries on the doorstep and drives away to parts unknown. It's never explained where she ends up.
After several hours, Seth gets worried and heads out to search for the missing Aidra, after finding the groceries out front. He drives around aimlessly and ends up going back to his home, presumably on campus.
Without proper set-up, suddenly we have a scene of Steven St. Croix, playing Aidra's dad, with his young lover Karla Kush, when he gets a phone call from Aidra telling about crazy Dana. It's very confusing when he hangs up and makes love to Kush, only to be "caught in the act" by Dana after his money shot. She throws Kush out of the house, and it's ambiguous whether this was a flashback, and even the locations involved, as Dana's seemingly on her own at the beginning of the movie.
Seth returns to Dana's home with flowers for Aidra in hopes of making up with her, and instead, is suddenly seduced by MILF Dana in a very phony porno-logic scene, as if the filmmakers were in a hurry to get on with the climactic XXX scene and wrap up the show. After sex, Seth is leaving the house with half-undressed Dana by his side, when he opens the door to find Aidra coincidentally just arrived. Show ends on a very downbeat note, with Dana crying by herself, and Aidra rushing away, not responding to Seth's pleas and apologies.
What a mess!
