A very predictable and dull movie where every character is very unlikable, shallow and generally idiotic. Accordingly I had no interest in the well-being of any of them and watched the story plod through to its dreary end. Dozens of silly old cliches - including the ancient one where two characters grapple - with one of them holding a gun, it "somehow" gets fired, they freeze instantly (like inexperienced actors and directors believe gunshot victims always do) and we wait to see which of them has been shot. The whole story is this unimaginative and unrealistic. And identically, ANYONE who gets shot in the this trashy movie freezes in shocked silence.
The frequent, gratuitous, deep bass sounds inserted for atmosphere are ridiculously amateurish.
I regret wasting my time on this move, giving it a rating of 2, which means I watched it to the end and despised it. (1 is reserved for garbage that I stop watching before it ends).

There were only two reviews, both glowing. Where do these people come from who write such reviews? We watched it because of this and because it was British.
This show was rubbish with unlikeable characters using foul language and being violent. There was nothing redeeming about it.

I don't usually review, but felt compelled to warn others who might be considering wasting their time with this 'movie' . This is a truly terrible film, perhaps the worst I've ever seen. Acting... storyline... direction.... all abysmal. Avoid.

There's something not quite right with this film; I can't quite put my finger on what it is, the lack of continuity, the 'Instagram' filter that passes for colour grading and one assumes has been added in an attempt to add atmosphere, the thoroughly dislikeable characters, the poor script, or the even poorer storyline.
Whatever it is, I can only assume David Hayman and Cathy Tyson both had big credit card bills due, because I can't think of another single reason either would have sullied their good name with this drivel.
Seriously, don't waste your time.

One of those movies where you go away feeling you have wasted your time which you will never get it back... full of cliches and bad acting. How do right-thinking people give these idiots access to a film studio? Apart from that the attempt to frame it in some kind of social justice context was laughable...
I was reluctant to watch this film, having read negative reviews, however without having any better alternatives and, being somewhat intrigued by the moral lesson implied by the title, I thought I'd give it a chance.
The film is not what it first appears to be, and I found myself initially sympathising with characters whom I later found appalling, and vice versa.

Excellent acting throughout especially from Cicely Tyson and David Hayman. Well edited & fast paced no wasted scenes or pointless time fillers. It's a great revenge story, the kind I particularly enjoy! Should definitely be higher rated. Enjoyable and well worth the view!

First of all I have to say this is actually okay, and I am quite fussy. I suppose as I am British I do like British dramas. And Katie Jarvis is quite a charismatic screen presence. She may be restricted to parts for londoners, but then you could say that of Jason Statham.

It's an absolutely gripping film, more twists than a turkey twizzler.
Violent and interesting.

Enjoyable British flick with some gritty acting which showed some really unpleasant characters.
Plot was dark with some twists dragging you through the dirt they had found themselves in.
Cathy Tyson and Katie Jarvis worked well together making the film rumble to a crunching ending 8/10

Just watched this on Netflix, and I gotta say - why all the hate? This was a good independent film, with good acting, good plot, and good atmosphere. I've never read the book, so maybe that's it. But as a stand-alone film, I was entertained & dug it! Katie Jarvis was the standout to me. I loved her in Fish Tank, and she doesn't disappoint here. I recommend it for any and all who enjoy gritty independent films. Definitely worth a watch. I wish Katie would get more roles. She acts well, and she's easy on the eyes. I will be watching this again. Peace out!

Well, from past experience, I don't usually watch British films, especially if the accents are Cockney! I've seen a few and they were really, really crap with sub-standard acting. In fact, I was going to give it a really bad review without having watched it (I know that's naughty) but I thought, "Nope, I'm going to give this film a try!"... So I did, and I was surprised at how good it was. The acting was good, the filming was excellent, the plot was very interesting, the script was good, the whole setting of the film was good. It's not an action-packed film but I can honestly say that it was, for me, a gripping film. There were a few gory bits as well... I'm one of those macho guys who hates injections with thick needles!!! I would recommend this film to anyone who likes the true gangland type films and the thug who thinks he's a hero... My only criticism was the end - I think it could have ended another way, but good nevertheless...

Two Graves is so underrated, enjoyed it from start to finish, what a gritty performance from Cathy Tyson, really fast paced, all scenes tied together in the end, worth a watch, then judge for yourself...

Loved every moment of this brilliant true British independent film. It was gritty, didn't follow the typical over used americanised colour. Character development was done well, I was able to really resonate with the characters. I liked the pace it moved at and was great to see some classic British faces in there.
Throughly enjoyable.
