What this short film gets right is how much it tells us and how much it doesn't. The subtext here is what hits, and it hits harder the more you think about it.
Spring is only 7 minutes long, but feels stagnant and draggy and that's my only complaint.
Overall however, nicely done!

Spring does not care about your feelings - no pun intended. And something you may understand or not. Which is also a bit true about the motivation of one of the two teenagers here. This is not how a true friend should behave. I reckon there is more to her ... let's call them friendship feelings. Still I can only imagine what she must be thinking ... during but also in the end.
I also have to imagine (I googled the other female lead), that she is of age. Can't imagine they did that (there is a small amount of nudity) - still the implications (or rather her character) is underage ... and what that does to someone ... let's just say that has gone awry and wrong in real life! Try to be educated - never do something you don't feel comfortable with! Even if your "friend" says it's ok to do ... a very important message to teens ... watch out!
