On point

I've only watched the first and second episodes which totals about 10 minutes (not sure I understand the length of the show but I'm hoping it will eventually make sense to me). However, I wanted to comment on the host, Fred Williams. This guy is exactly what I look for in a TV host. Well, he obviously knows his topic which is not always the case. Some hosts don't know the first thing about the the technical or cultural aspects of the topic of the show they're hiding so A+ for that. Secondly, and really why I wanted to write this review: He's so relaxed and chill. It's more like he's just talking to you, and at times you feel like you're his buddy. THIS is everything I've ever wanted in a ghost... hmmm, or "host". There is no false personality or hype. He's real. So Fred, thank you for that, which is just you being you, and thank you Motortrend for getting it right. Please, use more ghosts, or hosts (damn this auto "incorrect") in your shows like Fred. He's great. Oh, and as long as I've got you on the line: please create more restoration and custom build shows and in those shows highlight more of the actual craftsmanship of the builders like you just did with your latest installment (season 5, episode 9) of Iron Resurrection with their new guy "Chad". There is just not enough of that shown in any show. On most build shows you guys focus too much on the interaction between the people and not enough time showing us how they do this amazing work.

Fun, entertaining and relatatable!

If you're tired of watching a bunch of dude-bros put $80k into a $80k vehicle (or more), this is the show for you! It's fun to watch these guys build an off-road rig on a limited budget and have a blast in the process.

Contrary to popular belief, many of us could care less what vehicle a celebrity can have built on an unlimited budget. It's been fun to see Fred and Dave build cool stuff using mostly their skill, scrap parts and a few bucks. They never get upset even when things go poorly, they just laugh it off...a welcome change from so many shows that feature prima donna hosts and clients.

The latest episode sucked

2 guys riding motorcycles wow C'mon man, it looked like somebodies boring weekend home video. I m not sure what we are supposed to take away from that. No tech tips, no building, no break downs, no particularly interesting scenery, just 2 guys on dirt bikes for 30 minutes. Stunningly boring.
