The massive television set in the prime minister's office is American, as are the power outlets on the wall. European television sets don't have trims covering the edge of cathode tubes as American versions do. The type of rabbit ear antenna as seen in the prime ministers office has very rarely been used in Europe; rather TV sets were connected to big rooftop antennae. Also, the power outlets in Sweden are Type C European (CEE 7/16 Europlug) or Type F German (CEE 7/4 Schuko).
There were in fact four people taken hostage in the robbery, three women and one man, not just two women and one man as depicted in the movie.
The bank lobby is definitely filmed in the North America rather than in Sweden. The design of telephones, light switches, and door knobs aren't same as in Sweden or Europe. The European telephones prior to the 1990s don't have the letters corresponding to the numbers. The light switches in Sweden and Europe don't use the toggle to lift up or down: instead, they use the flat rocker panels. The European doors (outside the United Kingdom) use the handles rather than knobs.
The police uniforms are wrong. Most notable are the shoulder belts that does not cross the chest as they are supposed to, nor do they have the reflective stripe that was used at the time. Further, the gun holster was attached with clips and hung freely from the bottom of the belt, not sitting on top of it. All in all the police looks like they're wearing fantasy uniforms.
The Vespa scooter seen outside the bank when Kaj Hansson enters is a 1980 model PX version of the scooter, which wasn't even designed in 1973.
Several pistols shown in the movie are model Beretta 92. This pistol was designed in 1975 and started production in 1976. The movie takes place in 1973.
Nystrom asks for a 302 Mustang like the one driven by Steve McQueen in Bullitt (1968); this would be the Boss 302, which however was not available until 1969. So although the robber could have known about it, it could not have been used in Bullitt, but then this could simply be an error on the part of the robber.
