Gwen sarcastically mentions an "ad agency from 1961." Actress Jessy Schram played Bonnie Whiteside, a real estate girlfriend of Pete Campbell, in Mad Men (2007), a show about an ad agency in the 1960's.
The word 'Milsean' means sweets (candy) in Irish gaelic. So the Milsean Shoppe over which Gwen lives, translates to ' Sweet / Candy Shop'.
