When ashley Graham walked onstage in December to interview Serena Williams for the season finale of her podcast, Pretty Big Deal, she felt intimidated. As the crowd erupted into deafening cheers for the tennis icon, Graham gave herself a pep talk: “Own this shit, girl. You got it.”
It’s a mantra that has served the model well. Discovered in a Nebraska mall at age 12, Graham became the first size-16 woman to cover Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue, in 2016. The next year, she was the first curvy model to walk...

Lifetime’s “American Beauty Star” has a new second season host who appreciates the contestants’ struggle for success as equally as their battle to break down diversity barriers in the fashion industry.
“I have been doing this for almost 20 years… and people are finally catching up to what we’ve always known as normal,” the show’s host Ashley Graham told Variety at an exclusive screening and panel for the hit show. “Being the first of so many different things you are always going to have those conversations. Little girls like you and I when we were growing up didn’t have a role model that looked like us. And, now there are role models for them. That gives me chills because that makes me just know that they are not going to have as bad a time growing up.”

Ashley Graham is many things: supermodel, author, body-positive activist, to name a few. But, now, the multihyphenate has added one more title: executive producer.

Victoria's Secret Angel Adriana Lima is appearing to put her foot down when it comes to disrobing.
The longtime supermodel, who walked her 18th Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in November, spoke out on Saturday regarding her new stance on stripping down.
"I had received a call for the possibility of filming a sexy video of me to be posted and shared in social media," Lima, 36, wrote on Instagram. "Even though I have done many of this type, something had changed in me, when a friend approached me to share that she was unhappy with her body."
The Brazilian bombshell has posed for racy -- and even naked -- photo shoots for magazines in the past, but she now says that she is ready to "make that change."
"Everyday in my life, I wake up thinking, how do I look? Was I going to be accepted in my job?" she asked. "And in that moment...

“That’s something that doesn’t come into my head,” she tells People in a new interview featured in this week’s issue, on newsstands Friday. “My plan is to stay as long as my body allows me, at least until I am 40, so that’s four or so more years. But if I can stay longer,...

Et was on set of Lifetime’s American Beauty Star -- a new competition series that aims do for hair and makeup artists what Project Runway has done for fashion designers -- with host Adriana Lima, contestant mentor Sir John (Beyonce’s personal makeup artist!), and judge Sarah Brown, Vogue contributing editor, to find out why it took until 2017 to make a show like this happen.
“This is such an exciting time for beauty,” Brown gushes. “What's been amazing in the last year or two is that we've seen the definition of beauty expand, to be so much more inclusive than it ever has been.”
“Right now, the conversation is so broad and includes every gender, every ethnicity, every type of person, every everything,” she continues. “There's just room for everyone, and makeup brands are getting on board with that, the modeling...

When Sir John and Joan Smalls get together, beautiful makeup is almost guaranteed. The supermodel's face made for the perfect canvas for the makeup artist and L'Oréal spokesperson, who also works with Beyoncé, Karlie Kloss, Gabrielle Union and Ashley Graham. Recently, the American Beauty Star mentor painted blue liner on Joan's top and bottom lids, titling his work, "Denim Liner." As we're prepping our denim wardrobe for fall, this makeup trend came at the perfect time. The pigment, matched to the model's I'm-not-even-trying-and-i'm-still-killin'-it stare, would make anyone pause their timeline scroll. Her eyes pop. Her face is flawless yet...
