We meet the ladies of the Petz One Saturday adoption. Tanya, Marta, Lily Anne, and Michelle give us some insight on who they are. While they may not be the world's most perfect family, they manage to come in and do their best to put pets into new homes every weekend. The four have a run-in with serial adopter, Leslie.

Marta's father, Samuel, visits the store and picks up Marta for the weekend, causing Tanya to feel insecure about her relationship with Marta. While Tanya and Samuel bicker, Michelle and Lily Anne try to help a customer who can't decide what pet she wants - much to Michelle's discontent.

Lily-Anne's obnoxious friends, Alana and Tracey, come to visit the store. This displeases Tanya and Marta. Michelle spends the day trying to catch up on pop culture knowledge. The gang has a hard time placing a kitten who was born with a rare deformity.

Tanya takes a peculiar trip to city hall and leaves the store in the hands of the girls. Marta and Lily Anne fight over Lily's attempt to leave the store and abandon her duties. Michelle is an anxious mess and tries her best to keep everything together.

Two cats get caught in the act overnight by neighborhood kids. After video of the incident goes viral, traffic increases at the adoption on Saturday - stressing the gang out more than usual. Shane tries to help out - which Tanya doesn't appreciate. Michele and Marta judge people with a childhood play toy.

A rainy day causes traffic at the store to be extremely slow. The girls try to pass the time by playing different games. Tanya is texting and taking phone calls that the girls don't quite understand. Lily-Anne thinks her mom has a new boyfriend, but Marta is skeptical about the conclusion.

Marta and Lily Anne go out to get Tanya the best Mother's Day gift they can find, making them think about their relationship with their mother deeply. Meanwhile at the store, Leslie returns with her new boyfriend to adopt a cat. Michelle and Tanya try to keep that from happening at all costs.

Michelle loses her apartment and starts the search for a new one. Tanya helps out, but it's not easy to find the perfect apartment for such an odd person. Darwin, Marta's super-cute crush, comes into the store with his family. Marta freaks out.

Lily-Anne's dad comes to visit and brings some interesting news along with him. Tanya deals with her past and tries to figure out her future. Michelle becomes concerned about the news that the bees are dying, and gets Marta's help to start a campaign in the store to save them.

A pit bull is the last pet to be adopted for the day. Michelle decides that she wants to tell Barry how she feels about him, but has trouble figuring out how. Meanwhile, a cute customer comes in looking for a new pup. Tanya deals with her dating life.
