Director Nadine Asmar received the Jury Prize for Best Short Film at the 16th Festival du Film Court de l'Université Paris 1 from the Jury President Patrice Leconte
The film was awarded the Jury Prize of the Best Short Film at Festival Cin'et Campus in France after being selected among the 12 finalists of the competition and screened at Cinéma Gaumont Disney-Village
The film was awarded the 3rd prize for Best Student Film at the 4th Women Over 50 Film Festival in the UK. The jury president, British Documentary Filmmaker Ulrike Kubatta presented the jury statement at the closing ceremony: "This is a film which shows us the grief of a mother who has lost her son to an unknown fate in modern day Lebanon with impressive maturity. This drama tactfully structures a larger theme into a short format, while keeping the viewer engaged with the main character throughout. The film's locations and accomplished cinematography add to the atmosphere of this absorbing short film."
The house scenes of The Blind of the Cathedral (2015) and Perhaps Today (2017) were shot in the same apartment.
The role of Oum Karim was originally written for Claude Baz Moussawbaa who later accepted to play it.
