Four Latino Works in Progress have been selected and will show to invited industryites starting at 10:00 Am on November 2 at the Tcl Chinese Theater 6 in Hollywood CA.
These are feature fictional and documentary films currently in post-production and are centered on the theme of borders, migration, racism, human rights and social movements of Latinos living abroad.

Ficg, the Guadalajra International Film Festival, is celebrating its 7th year in L.A. under the guidance this year for the first time of Estrella Araizo, the head of the Industry events of the 32 year old Ficg. Four Latino works in progress and screening of 27 films begins November 2nd with its Opening Night Gala at the Tcl Chinese 6 Theater in Hollywood. The Closing Night Spectacular will be November 5 with a live band and the free outdoor screening in the Plaza Mexico in Lynwood of Tepeyac will wrap a program designed to appeal to the Mexican population in L.A. along with the multiple other populations who reside in greater Los Angeles, the most multicultural city in the world.Held in conjunction with 250 separate events of The Year of Mexico in L.A. Ficg will cohost one 3D movie as well. And celebrating a generous gift to the University of Guadalajara in L.

Rome-based sales company True Colours has added English-language extreme sports drama Ride, Italian box office hit It’s The Law and Generation Kplus title Two Irenes (As Duas Irenes) to its Efm slate.
Brazilian filmmaker Fabio Meira’s Two Irenes - about two girls with the same name and an unexpected connection – marks the first non-Italian production for Rome-based True Colours since it launched in 2015.
Ride is a horror thriller about extreme sports shot entirely on GoPro cameras by writing and directing duo Fabio Guaglione and Fabio Resinaro. It follows their military thriller Mine, starring Armie Hammer, which was picked up by Well Go USA Entertainment for North America.
