Kimber, a sweet young girl walking to her friend's house, crosses paths with Willie, who tries to charm her with a song.

Willie messes with the wrong dudes but does his best to keep his pride. His hate for Andre (the kingpin of the neighborhood) intensifies.

Willie is visited by Asher and Rose, recent neighborhood transplants that work for a hip local magazine called "Crater". They convince Willie he would be an interesting subject for an upcoming article, but their motives are questionable.

Willie's special friend (Shirlene) scores some dope and the two spend the afternoon bickering, getting loaded and diving into a tragic part of Willie's past.

Willie goes nuts after his money cup is stolen, then pushes a confident local politician to the edge. Partly Based on the Bukowski Poem, "The Crunch."

Willie meets a desperate young man from the other side of town who has lost his beloved dog, Pumpkin. He then cons his way into being paid for a vigorous search throughout the neighborhood.

Willie is in a bad place psychologically and desperately asks God for help. He must first let something go from his past, which is made more clear after an interaction with a stranger.

Willie is presented with an opportunity from Carl to leave the alley. Willie's estranged father unexpectedly shows up with bad news and then offers him a job to work with him.
