Alan Powell in Worth Fighting For (2017)

Trivia

Worth Fighting For

Edit
Worth Fighting For was filmed in both Enterprise and Dothan, Alabama.
Lead actor, Alan Powell, was the lead singer for the American Christian group Anthem Lights.
During the scene when Alex (Alan Powell) was punching the heavy bag he hit the bag so hard it caused his hands to bleed. You can see the blood on the heavy bag during the film.
Not able to get enough extras for some of the fight scenes the production team used a little magic in the editing process. In some of the fight scenes you can see where the same people are in different sections around the boxing ring.
When shooting the final fight scene between Alex and the last fighter there was a mishap in choreography. Actor Hal Davis was a little too far forward in his stance and Alex (Alan Powell) leaned in the wrong way. It was a perfect storm that when the punch connected nobody on the set knew... except for Hal and Alan. In the scene you can see the punch connect.
