Sin City's "sin twins" Misha and Sasha from Russia (not England as IMDb lists and refuses to correct -as if I had access to their birth certificates!) finish off this desultory project with "Part 2", a time-waster for all concerned. I watched it as part of my current survey of director Bud Lee's fascinating career, but his trip to England and Spain was more vacation than productive filmmaking I'm afraid.
Part 1's cliffhanger ending goes nowhere with this finale, as our unscrupulous hero Eddie played by Cheyne Collins doesn't really have to face the music -caught between two ruthless gangsters David Courtney (a real-life local celebrity of sorts) and gun-runner Hector (Brit Porn stalwart Steve Hooper). The plot set-up previously more or less deteriorates as Cheyne and the sexy twins go through the motions of stealing back the valuable diamond paid by Dave to Steve previously, and we get five random sex scenes featuring them and a couple of other lovelies. Some scenes, especially humping on the beach in Ibiza, seem like mere remakes of what we've seen last time, and the absence of proper action footage or violence dooms the project even on the parody level of Guy Ritchie (which it is not, using the name only).
Going in, I had expected this to fall into the Brit Porn genre, but rather it emerges as mere poaching by the honchos at Sin City, missing the opportunity to tap the local talent pool in Blighty and come up with something to impress American audiences. A decade or so later, the equivalent of brain drain is already setting in, as Stella Cox, Jasmine Jae, Ava Dalush, Ryan Ryder and other top British stars (Tony De Sergio and Tanya Tate before them) migrate to Chatsworth where the big bucks and international fame reside.
