This is the first film for Chico and Hisham Maged away from their friend Ahmed Fahmy.
Parts of the film were scheduled to be shot in Italy, but the filmmakers retreated from this proposal and filmed in Croatia because it is more suitable to the film in spite of photography costs being higher there than in Italy.
