This review comes a little late but then its lasting impact which compelled me to pen down my review even after almost three months of its release itself speaks volumes of the quality of the movie. I had watched #Khoj in the first weekend itself. The movie is an awesome blend of mystery and drama coupled with superb cinematography! The brilliantly crafted narrative did not for once make the audience feel that the director was a debutante. The narrative kept me at the edge of my seat throughout! The film can boast of superb acting by all and special applause goes to Vikram Chatterjee and Shataf Figar. Both of them left a mark with their matured, restrained acting. Kudos to you guys. The dramatic end makes you think and leaves you asking for more. A must-watch for all cine- lovers. For me, Khoj has definitely raised the bar of Bengali movies. Please do watch #Khoj if you haven't yet...else you will miss out on a great movie.

The movie was going well even with very simple acting, but somehow the got more idiotic...!!
It is very sad to see that such a great thriller it could be, but it became a devastating thriller.
Firstly acting was not too good for a bengali thriller, we already saw such bengali thriller like baishe srabon, chatuskon where you just can't tell that acting was not good,
But in this movie directing was not that bad, but I am impressed with good music directing,
After all it could be a great film, but somehow its lost the track
Watch it at least for once because I saw many people like this devastating flim..!!
My Review(5.5/10)

First of all, the reviews and rating are over hyped.
Second, pathetic acting and story telling. Sometimes, I just wanted to stab my self by seeing the pathetic acting.
Third, where was the suspense?
Bengali thrillers can do much better than this. At least get a story first!

Watched the movie and must say it was excellently crafted, putting to use the fantastic locales the film was shot in. The story was gripping, leaving one wondering what would happen next, the mark of a great thriller. The acting of the main characters Sayan Bose and Prashant Chowdhury was outstanding! For a first time movie maker, Arka Ganguly has proved himself a contender in the Bengali movie industry. Congratulations to the entire team of Khoj!
First of all, there was no suspense. everything was loud and clear after first few minutes. Below average acting, weak plot, plenty of loopholes. pathetic acting.
All the people who have given above 9 starts, most probably written by close associates of the makers, which is evident from the brand new accounts.
So finally its Khoj, even with a fractured leg I didn't miss the chance of watching this film rather I couldn't resist myself, after watching the trailer everyday from the day it was released.
The trailer of the film was so exciting that expectations were very high, and the director Arka Ganguly, surpassed all levels of expectations and gifted us with a masterpiece at the first stroke & I really lack adjectives to praise your art of work.Respect for u Mr.Director.
This masterpiece of yours,at least for a while made me think,Is it really a Tollywood Film that I am staring at? The real essence of the movie was by the stunning location which created a perfect ambiance for this thriller. The curvy hilly roads and the mesmerising scenic beauty took us into the movie and throughout the movie it felt like I was at the location itself.
The movie has got the appropriate pace that is needed for a thriller and the plot of the movie goes without any flaws. Here,it would be a sin not to mention the cinematographer Ripon Chowdhury who worked so aptly hand in hand with the director and gave birth to such a cinematic brilliance. The excellent talent you exposed in this movie is remarkable and will be in our mind and heart for a long long time. The perfect use of natural locations and natural light gave a total different beauty to the movie. The raindrops, the fog,the misty lights and silhouettes was exceptionally praiseworthy.
Now,to the end I should comment on the brilliant performance of the two leading actors Vikram Chatterjee & Shataf Figar.Sayan Bose & Dr Prashant Chaudhury just nailed it so very well which can't be explained in words. Both of them were awesome and they have a long way to go and give us much more such surprises. The other characters Jeevan, Rose and Jonaki were equally fantastic. Every one did justice to their characters & made it feel very authentic & original. Perfection seems to be the keyword for this thriller and this made my urge for much more from Mr.Director in future. The ending just left behind many questions in my mind and it was like "Somethings are always better left unsaid"
Lastly,I have to mention the young police officer of Rimtik P.S Sayan Bose just swayed my heart away and I was just speechless to see him, he is the sole reason I overcame all difficulties to reach the theatres.
Loved it Team Khoj & waiting for the next endeavour.

I accidently stumbled upon this movie on youtube and since it was so acclaimed I deceied to try it out, the movie starts on a good path but turns into complete trash. This isn't a 'thriller' it is a tragety with no logic whatsoever - two hours of my life I will never get back.
