Chester Conklin gets a job in the props department of a movie studio. Soon he gets into all sorts of trouble.
With the presence of some other silent clowns like Harry Bowen and Leo White, you'd expect there to be a lot of fun in this short comedy. However, the forced use of normal cranking speed, the age of some of the gags, and the slow rate at which they're set up, doesn't help. Neither does the fact that writer-director hadn't held a megaphone for seven years, but had been a writer, basically a gag man.
Still, it's good to see some of the supporting comics put some energy into their performances, and Leo White is pretty good.
