Secret Diary of Jo May

Jo May was a name back in Blighty a decade ago, though virtually unknown here in America. She struts her stuff in this compilation that I found a worthwhile introduction to an off-the-beaten-path talent.

She teams up in one fine segment with a similar British Beauty Angel Long, who is far more represented on screen in scores of videos but like Jo remains unsung commensurate with her abilities. Several of the players, including Jo, are employed locally by The Sex Channel, one of those satellite TV entities that delivers porn to the unwashed masses.

With males relegated only to non-sex appearances, this Lesbian extravaganza is heavy on toys, with dildos of various shapes and sizes utilized in most of the scenes. Perhaps the most potent (sex-wise) guest star is Renee Richards, hiding behind her alternate moniker Renee Cox.

Semblance of a story has to do with a lovely country hotel where Jo is staying, and she purports to tell us about sexual escapades from her private life. Without any drama, confrontations or tension of any sort, it is merely an excuse for girl/girl sex action.

One odd element, the kind that confounds historians trying to sort out film credits, is that a beautiful young blonde named Belle appears not only in this video but in an unrelated title "Jo's Secret Video Diary". That show from Viv Thomas stars an actress named Jo who is actually Monica Sweet from Hungary -pretty confusing, and made worse by the name ripping off the great fellow Eastern European talent Monica Sweetheart.
