Freddie Mercury was very ill with AIDS while filming the video, but never the less took any opportunity to be creatively involved in it, including co-directing some of the scenes and storyboarding the video. It was the last time he had any creative input in the video due to his declining health.

Maybe, a song about freedom. Or lovely expression of imagination. Or just eccentricity. Short, one of the most seductive and bizarre videos and one of songs reminding the purpose of Queen art - not to shock but for say, in precise manner, not the most pleasant truths . Including about forms of happiness.
