While scouting a location for the interrogation room. Initially (due to budget constraints) John and Dustin planned to set up a four wall room inside a friends garage. After several failed attempts to build the four wall interrogation room, John decided to take the shoot out of LA to the city of Fresno where Fresno City hall was obtained at no charge for most of the episodes scenes.
