Big Bad BBQ Brawl

I'm a big fan of this show. I think it's great the way Shannon & Big Rich go all over the country challenging the local bbq restaurant owners. Their creativity is amazing! I was disappointed with what they did during the episode where Shannon entered a FBA Contest in Kississimee, Florida. Every other contestant told them what to do with the flavors in order to do well with the judges. Shannon & his team did not adapt, instead they wanted to teach the judges their flavors. I felt this was very foolish and disrespectful. I felt it was foolish because the judges have been professionally trained on what to look for and some have years of experience. There are so many judges that Shannon's desire to introduce the judges to Brooklyn flavors is foolish. I also felt it was disrespectful to take a beautiful Kobe brisket that is so expensive and turn it into a roast beef.
