A fear mongering, misleading at best, waste of time documentary in the spirit of Supersized in terms of factual information. For a first class study on manipulation and taking advantage of people emotions, watch this.
A masterclass on to use statistics to say anything that you want them to say.

Fortunately, this film's main victory, besides offering potential solutions to our current gun violence epidemic, is that it exposes the NRA as a lobbying organization that is predominantly funded by the gun companies. Very similar to Big Tobacco. Remember how tobacco lobbyists spent huge amounts of money to cover up studies that proved cigarettes were bad for you? How they encouraged pregnant women to smoke? With full knowledge of the true harm being caused, they lead the American public astray because there was just too much money at stake. Their greed surpassed their ethics and morality. The very same thing is happening here - and their tactics have only become more twisted and deceitful. If the NRA was actually acting in the interest of its members, why would it fight against universal background checks when 83% of gun owners support background checks? It just doesn't add up.
This film blends personal stories and intimate instances of gun violence with larger statistics and facts that give the bigger picture - this isn't just one person's struggle, but the reality of far too many Americans. The film pries into the true numbers of who is bankrolling the NRA and what lengths they are willing to go to in order to protect the profits of gun manufacturers. It is very important to watch this film so a glimpse of the truth can be seen through all of the media spin, slick commercials, and internet celebrities that appeal to your sense of independence, your fear, your need for safety, and turn those very things against you.

This is an excellent, powerful film. When I first heard about it I do what I always do, which is to look up the reviews on IMDb. At first, I was struck by the 4.2 rating and thought, "this must be a bad film". Then I read the reviews. Read them yourself. Written by NRA supporters, they distort the reality of gun violence in America. This movie exposes, quite skillfully, the role of gun manufacturers in the murder of our children.
Any honest look at the role of guns the United States, shows irrefutable evidence that the United States is a complete outlier in the world. Guns are rampant and gun violence is rampant. Other countries that have reasonable gun control laws have less violence.
And within the United States, those states that have the most stringent gun laws have the lowest murder rates.
This is an excellent film that connects the dots between the National Rifle Association, which is nothing more than a propaganda arm for gun manufacturers, and the epidemic of gun violence that is destroying America.
I watched this movie on the evening of the "March for our Lives" in the wake of the Parkland murders in Florida. It is my fervent hope that everybody in America think seriously about how we can reduce gun violence and how we could nullify the power of the gun manufacturers. Quite simply, gun manufacturers literally choose their own personal wealth over the lives of their fellow citizens. Watch this movie. Watch dozens of parents describe the horror of burying their children. Than do anything you can to publicize this movie. Give it a 10 rating and ask your friends to watch.

So I see the NRA and gun nuts have made sure to write a lot of negative comments. This movie is a must see, and provides substantiated facts.

This is a well-made, factual documentary. One proof of that fact is the way NRA members are rating this down and trying to challenge its facts using non-factual insults. Now more than ever we need movies like this to show us the danger that radical groups like the NRA pose to our way of life.
Watch this show and judge for yourself; then spread it to all your friends.

Anyone concerned about gun violence and why it is so hard to get reasonable gun laws passed should watch this. There is a massive lobbying effort to distort the conversation about guns and gun violence. The biggest lie told to the American people is "Only a good guy with a gun can stop a bad guy with a gun." The rise of anti- government militias and gangs are fueled by lax or non-existent gun laws. Suicide by gun is an epidemic. The gun lobby does not want our politicians to talk about these issues and they silence them with massive cash donations.

This is not an "anti-gun" documentary, it's a pro gun safety documentary. We'll never be without guns in America but damn, we could at least TRY to keep people safe. But then again...thoughts and prayers go such a long way...
