Third of three feature film collaborations [to date, September 2017] of actor Bryan Brown and director Kriv Stenders after Kill Me Three Times (2014) and the previous year's Red Dog: True Blue (2016).
The two Australian feature films named after Australian public holidays, Boxing Day (2007) and Australia Day (2017), were both were directed by Kriv Stenders and were both made about exactly a decade (or ten years) apart.
